When ordering, please read menu descriptions carefully. Notify us of any food allergies/intolerances so we may inform you of ingredients in more detail.
Please note we are a small home-based bakery and while menu items may not have added allergens, we cannot guarantee they will be free of traces. Our kitchen is not a nut-free environment. Some ingredients used may have been produced alongside nuts and other allergens. All our products will be labeled with content of the 14 regulatory allergens.

Payment is required to confirm orders. Full payment is due up front for orders totalling £100 or less. Orders over £100 require 50% non-refundable deposit at time of booking. We cannot begin filling an order until payment has been received and cleared.

We book up quickly with Thursday through Monday of each week being especially busy. We strongly recommend you place your order at least a MONTH in advance to reserve the date and avoid disappointment.
If looking for custom decorations, we strongly suggest you allow at least TWO WEEKS as everything is made by hand.
Any extra notice is greatly appreciated. *Please note, a rush fee may be applied to orders with turnaround times of a week or less*

A 50% refund, less any custom work already begun or specialty items purchased, will be issued by bank transfer within 1 month for orders cancelled with 1 week notice. The remaining 50% minimum is retained to account for loss of other orders on same date, work already undertaken, and ingredients/supplies purchased.

A single location within Belfast city is from £5. Please get in touch if you are further afield or your order requires deliveries to more than one location. Orders can, of course, be collected from us for free.
If no one is in to receive the delivery at the delivery address, items will be left in a safe location (such as covered doorstep) where possible or a note will be left for recipient to arrange collection. Please note, we cannot attempt multiple deliveries to the same address for the same order.
Cupcake prices are for cake and topping only as described in our menus. Custom, hand-made decorations are available and will be priced according to time and ingredients involved. Miscellaneous toppings such as glitter or sprinkles may incur additional cost at the discretion of Life is Sweet.
Quotes are valid for a period of 2 weeks, at which time prices may vary.
Prices of daily menu items may change without notice. If prices change before payment has been made/order has been confirmed, we are unable to honor original prices/quotes due to cost increases in ingredients/supplies.
Orders over £100, not including delivery, require 50% non-refundable deposit at time of order confirmation. Please note we cannot hold a date until payment has cleared. 25% of your total will be required 4 weeks prior to collection/delivery, with the remaining 25% being paid 2 weeks prior to collection/delivery. If payment is not received on time and we are unable to reach you for any reason, Life is Sweet will cancel the order and payment will not be refunded. As stated above, all other orders (valued £100 or less) require full payment at time of booking.
Payments, non-refundable or otherwise, are non-transferable.
