Payment details:  Cash, check, direct bank transfer, and PayPal accepted.  Payment must be made in full at the time of order confirmation for orders less than £100.  We cannot begin filling an order until full payment has been received and cleared.  Please see below for additional information about wedding/corporate orders.  Please note payments by PayPal incur an additional fee of 3.4% plus 20p per transaction, as charged by PayPal.  Please make checks payable to Sarah Smallwood.  If redeeming a Gift Card, please mention when ordering.

Notice Required:  We recommend you place your order at least 72 hours in advance to reserve the date, if paying by cash or bank transfer.  If paying by check, please allow 5-7 business days for the check to clear.  Any notice beyond that is greatly appreciated. 

Cancellation:  If you have to cancel an order for any reason, you must do so in writing at least 48 hours before scheduled delivery/collection date to receive a refund.  A 50% refund will be issued by check within 1 month.  No refunds will be issued for cancellations made under 48 hours and/or not in writing. 

Orders of at least £100 require at least 1 week notice in writing for cancellation.  A 50% refund will be issued by check within 1 month for cancellations made at least 2 weeks prior to the scheduled delivery/collection date.  A 25% refund will be issued by check within 1 month for cancellations made at least 1 week prior.  No refunds will be issued for cancellations made under 1 week and/or not in writing. 

Delivery:  A single location within Belfast city is £5.  Please get in touch if you are further afield.  Of course, you can collect from Life is Sweet free of charge.

 
ADDITIONAL INFORMATION

• As we bake everything from scratch especially for your order and do not keep stock on hand,  1 dozen (12) Full cupcakes, 2 dozen (24) Mini cupcakes, and 3 dozen (36) Baby cupcakes is the smallest batch we can make per flavor unless otherwise noted.   Minis are roughly half the size of Full cupcakes.  Babies are roughly a third the size of Full cupcakes. 

• Cupcake prices are for cake and topping only as described in our menus.  Custom, hand-made decorations are available and will be priced according to time and ingredients involved.  Miscellaneous toppings such as glitter or sprinkles may incur additional cost at the discretion of Life is Sweet.  

• Wedding consultations are free, during which we discuss ideas and answer any questions you may have about the services we provide and the overall process.
  
• Wedding tastings are £20.  This includes a taster of 6 Full cupcakes - 2 each of 3 flavors from our Basics menu (those priced at £1.60).  Additional tasters of any menu flavor are available at £5 per 2 cupcakes.  If you decide to book your event with Life is Sweet and place an order of at least £150, the consultation fee will go toward your balance.  If interested in having goodies at your wedding other than cupcakes or layer cake, such as whoopie pies or cake pops, please get in touch. 

• Orders of £100 or more, not including delivery, require 50% non-refundable deposit at time of order confirmation.  Please note we cannot hold a date until payment has been made.  25% of your total will be required 4 weeks prior to collection/delivery, with the remaining 25% being paid 2 weeks prior to collection/delivery.  If payment is not received on time and we are unable to reach you, Life is Sweet will cancel the order and payment will not be refunded.  As stated above, all other orders (valued less than £100) require full payment at time of booking.
• Gift cards are available in any value and redeemable on any of our products.  Please see the back of your gift cards for ordering details.    

• Payments (non-refundable or otherwise) are non-transferable.
